The book has been prepared by the researchers working at the IAFE-NRI and it is a synthesis of Multi-Annual Programme “Competitiveness of the Polish food economy in the conditions of globalization and European integration”. According to the authors the publication comprises selected and the most important pieces of research conducted by the Institute in 2011-2014. A more extensive discussion of the research results of eight Multi-Annual Programme’s topics, divided into 26 tasks, could be found in the relevant thematic syntheses published as a monograph and available free of charge on www.ierigz.waw.pl website.
